Frequency

The Frequency setting determines the number of rendering cycles that will elapse before the bristle is rendered again. If the values for Minumum Interval and Maximum Interval are different, a random value between the two will be calculated for each rendering cycle.

Grid

The Grid settings allow you to specify discrete intervals along the X and Y axes at which the bristle will be rendered.

The From Selection button will automatically calculate the X and Y grid intervals based on the bounding rectangle of the selected bristles. With the CTRL key pressed, it will reduce these values by half each time the button is pressed.

The X Offset and Y Offset values will "shift" the grid along the X and Y axes by the amount entered in these fields.
